[How To] Jailbreak iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1 With Ac1dsn0w

Ac1dsn0w is a new jailbreak tool released by the Pwn Dev Team to jailbreak iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1.

Be warned that Ac1dsn0w is brand new and in Beta number 1. There will be bugs. You do this at your own risk. If you want a more reliable jailbreak, use Redsn0w or Sn0wbreeze.
TETHERED JAILBREAK

Ac1dsn0w is only available for Mac OS X right now. For legality issues, we will not be providing links. You can find it via Google.

This jailbreak tool only works with:

• iPhone 3Gs
• iPhone 4
• iPod Touch 4G
• iPad 1

To jailbreak an iOS 5 or iOS 5.0.1 iDevice using Ac1dsn0w, you will need the Ac1dsn0w application. Right now, it's only available for Mac OS X Lion and Snow Leopard. You can download it here. It is about a 35MB download and will take a bit to download depending on your internet connection type and speed.

After you have downloaded it, unzip the .zip file and drag the application to your applications folder. Once you do that, open it up. The window will look like the first picture of this guide; up above. This is the main window of Ac1dsn0w. You have the option to jailbreak, boot tethered, enter pwned DFU mode, or exit recovery. Additionally, if you're an expert, you might want to show the console; it shows device information and the current state of the jailbreaking process. If you're a newbie, you might want to show the assistant; it shows how to get into DFU mode. The assistant and the console can be seen below:

Once you put your device into DFU mode, you can use the assistant on Ac1dsn0w but clicking, "show assistant" if you don't know how, you can click the jailbreak button on Ac1dsn0w. Ac1dsn0w will then go through the process that it needs to:

When it finishes the jailbreak process, you can click on the Tethered Boot option to boot tethered after jailbreaking. You will need to put your Device into DFU mode to do this just like any other tethered jailbreak; follow the assistant again before you click it:

Once you are up and running, enjoy your tethered jailbreak on iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1! You can install the Semi-tether to have the freedom to boot up your iDevice with stock iOS features. The Semi-tether will not grant you any jailbreak features until you boot tethered again.

We have removed all the download links of Ac1dSn0w until the team behind the tool fixes this issue. Apple Removes Fake “Jailbreak” From App Store

The fake jailbreak app which was being sold in the App Store with the price tag of $9.99 has been removed. At first glance it looked like a real “Jailbreak” which could jailbreak all iDevices running on any of iOS firmware version, due to its name and description, but it was actually a game.

Many iPhone users who purchased and installed it on their devices were disappointed and annoyed because it had nothing to do with jailbreak. After receiving many complaints, Apple took an action against it and removed it from the store.


The main purpose of posting this news here at jailbreakism is to convey a message to our readers that they should not purchase any jailbreak tool from any site. The jailbreak tools are free and will remain in future. All the hackers and researchers who contributed in developing a jailbreak never demanded any price for it, though some hackers asked for donations only.
This story also tells us that the approval process of apps and games for App Store is automated or that the men who approve the apps manually know nothing about jailbreaking.
There are a lot of blogs and sites which are trying to sell fake jailbreak tools just to get some money. Many users who are novice in the field of jailbreak may fall prey to these sites. So if you know anything about any such fake site/jailbreak, please let us know.

NASA juga kena keisengan dia, James nyuri software NASA ang diperkirakan seharga $1.7 juta dollar AS. sampe2 NASA dipaksa untuk mematikan server dan sistemnya!!!

karena kelakuannya juga doi gak boleh megang komputer selama 10 tahun..kasian nih orang..haha

tapi sekarang doi udah dijalan yang bener dan bikin sebuah perusahaan keamanan dibidang komputer..mantab!!



2. ADRIAN LAMO
ni orang juga sarap.doi ngebobol New York Times buat nedapetin info personal dan beberapa security number n ngebobol Microsoft (busyet gak tanggung2 dah). doi akhirnya didenda $65.000 dollar US,

kalo menurut gw inilah legenda hidup yang saat ini bener2 mantap dalam dunia hack.!!

* Hacking kedalam DEC system(Digital Equipment Corporation)

* ngedapetin administrator positon dalam satu komputer IBM biar menang judi, karena adminnya yang punya laptop IBM tersebut..haha

* Hacking Motorola, NEC, Nokia, Sun Microsystems dan Fujitsu Siemens systems

dan masih banyak lagi kelakuan doi yang luar binasa

seorang white hat hacker pun yang bernama Tsutomu Shimomura pun (ahli juga doi dan merupakan top 5 white hat hacker<hacker bae bae>), di hack komputer systemnya, dan terjadilah perang luar biasa..

doi ketangkep dan kelacak oleh FBI dengan bantuan Tsutomu Shimomura yang ngelacak (tracking) lewat jaringan HP' yang dibawa ama Mitnick saat itu..

tapi sekarang doi dah tobat n jadi seorang penulis buku, konsultan security, dan pembicara.



4. KEVIN POULSEN
 

juga dikenal dengan Dark Dante, doi ngehack database FBI (galak niy orang)
selain itu doi juga ngehack seluruh lines phone station. karena emang kemahiran dia ngehack lewat phone lines.

niy orang adalah orang yang pertama kali bikin Worm, yang dinamain Morris Worm (narsis niy orang)
melalui internet doi nyebari wormnya yang mengakibatkan sekitar 6000 komputer jadi down..!!!

dia akhirnya dipenjarakan rumah selama 3 tahun dan didenda sebesar $10.500 dollars

sekarang doi kerja sebagai professor di sebuah MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory!!




HACKER LEGENDARIS

bernama KARL KOCH berasal dari hannover Jerman yang ngenamain komputernya FUCKUP (First Universal Cybernetic-Kinetic Ultra-Micro Programmer), doi melakukan beberapa keberhasilan dalam ngehack pada kurun waktu 1985-1988. doi juga seorang cocaine addict!!

dia berhasil membobol beberapa sistem militer AS dan ngehacked sebuah pusat tenaga nuklir AS pada jaman perang dingin dan hasil hack'annya dijual ke KGB (Agen Rahasia Uni Soviet)

dia ditemukan tewas pada tahun 1988, menurut info dia membakar tubuhnya sendiri, namun siapa tau, ini konspirasi tingkat tinggi antara US dan Soviet pada perang dingin!!!
